Actually, if you knew anything about her you’d know that she’s a singer more than an actress. She hasn’t gotten paid to act in a while. Bette may not have had a hit in ages, but Caesar’s Palace and AEG will have done a lot of research before signing her and must have worked out that whether or not she’s sold more records than Cher, she can still pull a crowd because in America she’s an equally popular live act. Especially amongst Vegas-goers…
Why does she have to have all that crap onstage with her? If she doesn’t care about money, why does she gripe about having to give Sonny a lousey 2 mill. in their divorce? Good god, she’s made 100X that by now (thanks to him discovering her in the 1st place). I just don’t understand her, especially when she talks about Sonny.
