@gematria79: When you make such broad accusations toward an entire group, you better be prepared to validate your “facts.” We have three branches of government and a criminal in the White House. What do you have to say about him? They could get a greater salary and better benefits by working for corporations. The only branch that can legislate is Congress. They are the only ones that can give themselves a raise.

So the illegals come in and undermine the existing union (made up of American workers). Then you say, “the illegals will form their own union”. Are you friggen crazy????? THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE HERE. THEY SHOULD BE DEPORTED. Deport them and the original American worker’s union will reform.

I can appreciate that Representatives may need a few terms. I should have clarified that it is the Senate that has damaged this country and become a haven for some of the worst “white-collar” criminals. 20-30-40 years in the Senate has made them fat, corrupt and greedy. They have voted for themselves raises, health policies and retirement packages and still they take bribes and make sweetheart deals with lobbiests. NO INCUMBENTS IN ‘08.

@jimi122680: Why blame liberals for everything that goes wrong. There are many Republicans that side with the Democrats. While we’re on the subject of liberals, why are there so many Republican voters that are not against abortion. Just give the immigrants more time and they will start unions at many corporation in the USA.

@gematria79: Being a member of Congress isn’t an easy job. If you believe in term limits you will not get the best brains to run Congress. Who would bother to run for Congress if there were term limits. It would be more meaningful to join a corporation and make much more than a Congressman does. It can take several years to accomplish good things. The new members will have to start anew and the good ideas will just go by the wayside.

Liberals who support illegal immigrants are unknowingly siding with greedy U.S. corporations. Why? Because illegal immigration is about one thing –> more corporate profits via lower labor costs.

WHO WINS? Greedy companies AND illegal workers (earning FAR more than in Mexico).

WHO LOSES? The U.S. labor class (U.S. proletariat) via job losses to illegal workers & depressed wages.

Thus 120 years of U.S. wage struggles fought for since the Haymarket Rebellion of 1886 are being undermined.
