erica m asked:

Hello, my husband and I would like to invite a bunch of our friends and family out to Las Vegas for a second wedding! I really would love a cheesy wedding that is pretty inexpensive, seeing as I am already married and really just want my friends to all come out and party! Any suggestions?

Ask the craps shooter to toss Snake Eyes. If you win, he’ll pay for the party. Or have your friends pay for the whole thing.
Get in touch with the Los Vegas tourist office. This can’t be a first request for this sort of thing!

Just call one or two chapels on this list and they will be glad to renew your vows for as low as $49
Remember to take a copy of your married certificate with you.

Since renewing your vows is not an official ceremony, you don’t need an official to officiate. You can just stand and recite your vows to each other anywhere you choose. You can all go to Red Rock Canyon and have it there. At a chapel you will have to pay for use of the chapel and personnel. Since there is no paperwork involved it is usually pretty inexpensive and if you use someone to officiate then you have to pay for them also.

If you’re already married you don’t need the officiant. Just have the party and before the festivities, have everyone gather around you two renew your vows in your own words. Have a champagne toast and PARTY!

A drive-thru would be cheap but I would check out for link to wedding chapels. You don’t need a license and could go forego everything but the vows.

Any of the chapels will be happy to oblige you. You can save money on accommodations and food by staying at a time share with a kitchen. They are a timeshare on the strip that are luxurious with full kitchens and living rooms. There is a half price booth in the strip mall in front where you can save money on shows and restaurants. You can get a real deal cheaper than calling the hotel by renting from the owners by going to or
