Nightclub cover charges typically range from $20 to $30 for regular admission (stand in line). If you want VIP treatment, expect to shell out considerably more.

You can get complimentary show tickets if you do a lot of gambling. Almost anyone can get a drink. I’ve gotten these after spending only a couple bucks. More modest spending will earn you a free meal. To bag show tickets, you’ll have to risk quite a bit. Once you’re in the thousands range, they might offer you a free hotel room.

Full price show tickets are as follows. Now, these are just estimates because it does vary, but…

- Headliners (Elton John, Ray Romano, Jerry Seinfeld, Bette Midler) are $100 to $200

- Production (such as Cirque de Soleil) and Broadway shows are about $100

- Strip shows are roughly $40 to $50

- Magicians are all over the map, but they usually fall in between strip shows and production shows.

Shows that are not “sold out” for the night will have brokers out in the morning to advertise and drum up support. You can get a significant discount this way. And sometimes, you’ll get lucky (and score tickets for one of the better shows). But obviously, the odds are somewhat stacked against you.

SFdude is right on about the price of the clubs. You can possiblly get some passes from your hotel staff on guys on the streets sell club passes for $5-$10per pass. Get there early to maybe 9:30 on Fri,Sat. If you dont want to wait in line you can do table service for $400bottle 2 bottle min. The hottest clubs now are Pure at Cesars Palace, TAO at Venetian, LAX at Luxor, but all the clubs will be packed that weekend and have plenty ladies.

If you want to go to the clubs stay at a good hotel that has a free conceirge service that will put you on the guest list for any club you want and you won’t have to pay to get in. If your a guy i would reccommend bottle service- if your a girl just dress very cute- but get on the guest list- no one likes to wait in line. The hardrock, wynn and palms are very accomadating and i’m sure other hotels are as well- just call down to the front desk and ask for the conceirge. Absolutely see cirque du’ solei le reve at the wynn- it is incredible- im sure they all are- i just wasn’t so into mystere at circus circus- it was definitely the first. Best of luck.

SF dude is right on. A night in a club can cost you anywhere from a couple hundred bucks (regular admission and a few drinks) to several thousand for bottle service.

Show prices vary. The HOT ones like most of the Cirque shows, Blue Man, etc. sell out fast, and you’re going to pay probably $100 a ticket, give or take. If you’re not absolutely set on seeing a particular show, go to those Tix4Tonite or HalfPriceTix (or whatever it’s called) booths and see what you can get - those are the seats that aren’t sold on the morning of the show. You get them for about half the face value. Most of the hot shows don’t get tickets into here - but sometimes you get lucky.

Imo: go with one of the Cirque shows (except Zumanity - I’ve heard bad things), Blue Man Group, or Jersey Boys.
