I visited las vegas recently and like countless others i have seriously thought about moving there. I was wondering how hard it is to get a job and at a casino/hotel, and is the job market good, or too competitive. I have herd countless stories of people moving out there and moving back home because it was to hard. Just wondering if it really is difficult to start a new life in Las Vegas.

only if you want to open a wedding chapel. The competition is fierce.

It’s easy enough to get a job. The problem is the living expenses. High rent and very high bills. We have some of the highest auto insurance rates in the US. We pay a lot for gasoline, electricity and water compared to most states. Most people here are really competitive and people always want to be better than everyone else so they kill themselves getting nice cars.

I was born here and I wish it was back to the way it was 20 years ago before we started turning into California. (High rent/living expenses, more crime, too many laws, and too many darned illegal aliens)

As far as job…depends on what you are looking to do. Work in a casino..you will have to get a sheriffs card and then just apply. Cost of living there is no state tax her and depending on what side of town you want to live in…the rent varies unless you have roommates. A lot of people move here thinking they will hit it big and will be set for life…it does not work like that_
